Who We Are
Tempo 76 Leadership Collective
Even the most capable leaders and teams can lose their groove. Out of sync, unclear on culture, or navigating uncertain transitions. Tempo 76 Leadership Collective helps organizations and the people within them to rediscover their rhythm and perform at their best.
We work with organizations at every stage of growth and scale—from emerging nonprofits to global enterprises. We specialize in helping leaders make sense of change, lead across difference, and align culture with purpose.
Tempo 76 draws inspiration from music—where rhythm, tempo, and harmony are not metaphors, but methods. We believe leadership is both a craft and a collaboration: it demands precision, attunement, and timing. We don’t conduct from the front, we coach from within—helping individuals and teams build the internal capacity to lead, adapt, and perform together.
Emma Flack, Ed.D. - President & Founder

Emma brings both internal and external perspectives to her work, having served as a senior leader inside global organizations and as an external advisor to leadership teams around the world.
As an organizational strategist and executive coach, her work spans multiple domains: leadership development, talent strategy, cultural integration, and enterprise change. She is a Certified Master Coach with advanced expertise in 360° feedback, emotional intelligence, team dynamics, and psychometric tools. She holds a Doctorate in Learning, Leadership & Organizational Development.
Rooted in her Puerto Rican and African-American heritage, Emma approaches leadership with a lens of identity, equity, and power. As an Afro-Latina, she brings cultural fluency and a deep commitment to inclusive leadership, helping clients lead with authenticity, presence, and credibility across lines of difference. Her lived experience informs how she supports underrepresented leaders, builds equitable leadership pipelines, and advises organizations on systemic inclusion strategies.
She has lived and worked across the United States and the Caribbean, and has supported clients throughout greater North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This global reach gives her work both nuance and relevance in cross-cultural leadership settings.
Emma’s earliest discipline was music—piano, flute, and choral performance—which shaped her approach to leadership development. She draws on the principles of rhythm, presence, and ensemble thinking to help leaders listen deeply, adapt fluidly, and tune into the experiences of others.
Earlier in her career, Emma worked as a journalist and award-winning corporate communicator—strengthening her ability to help leaders articulate vision, navigate narrative change, and lead with clarity under pressure. That foundation continues to shape her work today, as she helps leaders not only act with purpose but communicate with power and integrity.
